Below The Surface is one of the oldest dive schools in Yorkshire, we started in 1991 to provide quality diving education we made the decision to provide a more personal feel to learning to dive by only taking small groups rather than the large impersonal groups students can find themselves in. We are now very proud to be a PADI Dive Centre, an SSI Dive Centre, BSAC Centre & a PADI Youth Training Centre.,
We have a keen interest in bringing not just diving but First Aid to the community which we have taken into schools and colleges , we have for many years been part of an international summer school giving students from all over the world a taste of diving. As well as running our own school with a very active club we can cater for children only sessions, parent and child sessions , party days, corporate events and obviously our teaching of all PADI courses.
We pride ourselves on being are a friendly school , most dive club nights end with a beer and a chat & a discussion about where the next trip should be . With now lots of happy customers, we love our job and our support staff all work full time and give up their time for the love of diving and the joy of teaching. We could not do it without them.
